In 2016, Jewish Voice helped Lemba Tribe congregations in Zimbabwe form five early childhood development centers. These centers are similar to what Americans call preschools and are the first step in a child’s education. Here, young children are prepared for their formal education years and the Lemba Believers have another opportunity to be a testimony of Yeshua’s love in the community at large.
Here are pictures from a recent graduation ceremony. Each little graduate received a certificate and a potted tree for the family. What a symbolic gift for these young sprouts who, much like these young trees, require careful nurturing through the years to produce good fruit in their lives.
