Tonight is the 8th and final night of Chanukah. As the light from the lampstand grows brightest tonight, we remember:
We remember the light of the lampstand and the Light of the World.
We remember the miracle of the oil and the miracle of new life in Yeshua.
We remember the victory God won for Israel and the victory Messiah won for us through His death.
We remember God’s purity and how through Yeshua, we are acceptable to draw near to Him.
We remember God’s provision to sustain the lamp for eight days, and we remember how He provides for us every day and His greatest provision of all, Yeshua.
On this eighth night of Chanukah, it is with thankful hearts that we are inspired to dedicate our lives anew to God.
Blessed are You, LORD, our God, king of the universe, who has sanctified us by His commandments and has given us Yeshua the Messiah, the light of the world.
Blessed are You, LORD, our God, king of the universe, who has performed miracles for our ancestors in those days at this time.
Rededicating Ourselves to the Lord
“Commit your way to Adonai. Trust in Him…” (Psalm 37:5 TLV).
“Commit yourself to the Lord…” (Psalm 22:8 NASB).
“…so that He might come to have first place in all things…” (Colossians 1:18 TLV).
Thank You, God, for the wonders of Your miracles, Your provision, Your victory, Your purity, and most of all the Light of the World, Yeshua. You are worthy of all praise, and we give our hearts to You afresh tonight. May we give ourselves more fully to You each day until the day of your appearing.
